Probe, Spring 2026

Introductory reader inquiring on the state of web design on the Russian internet. Colloquially called the “Runet”, Probe covers how state censorship, the post-Soviet introduction of foreign technology, and the Russian user’s relationship to online expression and communications informs why the Runet embodies a specific and sovereign essence.

Off Topic: A Feral Lecture Series, ongoing

Print and social media template design for a grassroots lecture series. Inspired by the Russian homework of my childhood, the layout is based on the often incomprehensible, “feral”, appearing script of Cyrillic cursive.

My love I hope my message finds you well, Spring 2026

Hand-curated archive of early 2000s Russian internet art in 216 images. An homage to the handmade web while serving as an ethnographic inquiry on the specificity of the Runet media landscape.

QUEEЯ, Spring 2025

Academic research and republishing surrounding homophobic persecution in the USSR and modern-day Russia. References pulled from Brian James Baer’s Other Russias: Homosexuality and the Crisis of Post-Soviet Identity and Francesca Stella’s Queer Space, Pride, and Shame in Moscow are coupled with archival images of Soviet queer media, historical locations, and contemporary post-Soviet artist works.

The Experimental Print Club at VCU, Spring 2026

Social media promotional materials designed to follow a recognizable palette while being flexible for varying information. Utilized digital printing and scanography to emphasize analog creation methods within the club’s activities.
